Overview

The 2018 robot included the ability to pick up “cubes” and deliver them to various platforms. Prior experience helped to build a lifting mechanism that efficiently delivered the cubes. Several autonomous routines were needed for this game and these evolved and improved as the season moved forward.

BlitzCreek won its second blue banner during the 2018 season. It then traveled to the FIRST of Michigan State Championship at Saginaw Valley State University and the FRC World Championship in Detroit, MI.

Game

This game required robots to pick up and deliver milk crates (“power cubes”) and deliver them to one side of a balancing platform. Opponents placed cubes on the opposite side of the balance and points were won by the team that tilted the platform their and match end. The end-game require robots to attach to a bar and lift itself off the ground.
