2016 was a year when many features came together in BlitzCreek robotics. The robot managed most of the elements of a multifaceted game. It was our first year using tank tracks for mobility. Multiple autonomous routines were integrated. Finally, a very successful end-game lifting feature rounded out the robot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

BlitzCreek traveled to the FIRST of Michigan State Championship in Grand Rapids and the FRC World Championship in St. Louis, MO.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

FIRST Stronghold offered a wide variety of randomly-placed obstructions to conquer and bypass to ultimately capture the opponent alliance\u2019s tower. Foam balls (\u201dboulders\u201d) were launched at the opponent\u2019s tower as well. The end-game included hooking onto a metal bar and lifting the robot off the ground.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n
